ImageHelsinki University was established in Turku in 1640, but was transferred to Helsinki in 1828. The University is trilingual, providing teaching in Finnish, Swedish and English. Besides Helsinki, the University has operations at 20 locations throughout Finland. Helsinki is hosting a conference on on 1-3 September 2005, on Bi-and multilingual universities.
