Conference: So, what is wrong with Economics ?

The Europaeum is once again collaborating again with the New York Review of Books Foundation on a forthcoming event entitled What’s Wrong with the Economy—and with Economics?,  due to be held in New York at Scandinavia House, next month, March 13th–14th, with a range of exciting keynote speakers including Nobel prize-winning Economists, Paul Krugman and Edmund Phelps, and well known thinkers including Jeremy Waldron, recently at All Souls College, Oxford, and Lord (Robert) Skidelsky, who participated in our public debate on Austerity held in 2014 in Oxford. The Europaeum will be represented by Dr Andrew Graham,  who chairs our Academic Council, former Economic advisor to the British Prime Minister and former Master of Balliol College, Oxford, who will also be speaking. Previous NYRB events we have supported include The Meaning of 1914 and the special video report on the Power, Privacy and Democracy event which took place in 2013.
