Research: ‘Spain and the United States, an Atlantic history 1868-1874’
Gerard Llorens earned an undergraduate degree in Humanities, majoring in History and Contemporary studies, and a Master’s degree in World history at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. He is currently studying nineteenth century Spanish and Atlantic history, and focuses on questions of slavery, citizenship and republicanism. He aspires to a career in higher education and public service. He loves tennis, poetry, and a nice, cold, glass of rum.
