Mohamad Al Halabi is a PhD candidate in Critical Dance Studies at the Free University of Berlin. He holds an MA in Dance Studies from the Free University of Berlin and a BA in Dance, Context, and Choreography from the Berlin University of the Arts, and is a recipient of the Avicenna-Studienwerk PhD Scholarship, awarded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Alongside his research, Mohamad has worked extensively in refugee support, community advocacy, arts education, and artmaking in Berlin.
