Talking to: Anthony Teasdale, Executive Director of the Europaeum
António Leitão Amaro is a Portuguese parliamentarian and currently Minister of the Presidency in that country’s government in Lisbon. He was a Europaeum Scholar back in 2020-21. He gave a keynote address to the current Scholars at the network’s recent Brussels policy conference in October 2025. In the margins of that event, he sat down with Anthony Teasdale to talk about what he had taken away from the Europaeum experience and the way it was now influencing his approach to political life, at home and in Europe.
