
Anna Kulma is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School in the Social Sciences at the Jagiellonian University, where she also earned an MA in Journalism and Social Communication. Her research focuses on youth political participation and the use of immersive technologies to study political attitudes and engagement. Her master’s thesis on political parties’ youth organizations won second place in a nationwide competition for the best master’s thesis in the discipline. For seven years, she has been actively involved in NGOs. As Editor-in-Chief of Youth Kraków and President of the Krakow Speakers Association, she has organized numerous projects promoting critical thinking and civic dialogue among young people. She became the Polish Champion in Oxford-style Debate in 2021. Anna is also a member of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy, Communication Officer of the Central and East-European Network of ECREA, and a contributor to the Participatory Constitutionalism in the European Union project.
