The Europaeum is pleased to invite applications for a new seminar on leadership at the Freie Universität Berlin. In an era of unprecedented global challenges and rapid transformation, effective leadership has never been more critical.
Navigating political uncertainty, driving organisational change. fostering innovation, and building resilient communities are all essential for today’s leaders, who must possess a diverse range of skills and the capacity to inspire and guide others through complexity.
The 2026 Leadership Seminar explores leadership in its multiple dimensions – examining contemporary leadership theories, practices, and challenges across different sectors and contexts. The seminar programme includes discussions with academics and opportunities to develop practical skills through experiential sessions with a world-class trainer.
All students currently enrolled on Master’s or PhD courses at a Europaeum member university are eligible to apply for this event. Successful candidates will be provided with accommodation and subsistence free of charge and will be reimbursed reasonable travel expenses from their university to Berlin.
Applications should include a completed Europaeum application form, a brief CV, a cover letter or statement of purpose (up to 500 words), and a reference letter you’re your supervisor or academic advisor, all sent to applications@europaeum.org.
