PhD student in Biomedicine, (Artificial Intelligence & Structural Bioinformatics), Saja Almabhouh from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona attended the CEPS Ideas Lab Conference in Brussels from 2-3 March 2026. Saja took part in the conference with nine other graduate students from across the Europaeum member university network.
This is what she said about taking part in the event:
“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the time and effort you put into coordinating such a great event and for giving us, as students, the opportunity to be part of it. As a researcher, I usually attend mainly scientific events, so this experience was truly enriching and eye-opening. It allowed me to reflect more broadly on how my work connects to the wider European context, and I would gladly take part in similar initiatives again.”
