Aliaksei (Alex) Patonia is a DPhil student in the School of Geography and the Environment, working on the infrastructure systems, economics, and governance of hydrogen deployment for net-zero energy transitions. Alongside his DPhil, Alex is a Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, where he works within the Hydrogen Research Programme. His research engages closely with policymakers, industry, and international organisations on the practical challenges of scaling hydrogen infrastructure across regions and sectors.
