
Anna Romanovych is PhD Candidate at the University of Padova. Driven by the urgent need for environmental protection, ecosystem restoration, climate justice, and the reduction of environmentally harmful human activities, her work explores the legal, economic and social dimensions of environmental harm. Her dissertation focuses on the severe environmental consequences of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Anna holds a Joint MSc in ‘Sustainable Territorial Development – Climate Change, Diversity, Cooperation’, from the University of Padova and Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar of Quito. Her BSc is in ‘Management, Commercial Logistics’, from KROK University. She is also a volunteer with the Ukrainian NGO ‘Ecodia’ and serves as a Project Assistant for the HEREDITARY project at the University of Padova.
