Ilona Poselużna

EU Artificial Intelligence Policy

Ilona Poselużna is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the Jagiellonian University, researching EU AI policy and how decisionmakers navigate AI-related uncertainty. She holds a Master’s in International Relations with distinction, completed a six-month research stay at the European University Institute (2025), and is a two-time recipient of the Minister’s Scholarship for Outstanding Achievements. She also led a grant on AI and IR theory. Her work includes peer-reviewed publications on digital transformation, and contributions to the AI and Democratic Values Index (Center for AI and Digital Policy, USA 2023). Beyond academia, she has worked in strategic and technology foresight consultancy for EU institutions and the UN. She was twice elected Department President of the Forum of Young Diplomats, the largest CEE NGO for IR students and young professionals.
