Ivan is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Leiden University. Before starting his PhD, Ivan worked for 14 years as an evaluator of humanitarian and development programs. His professional work has focused on generating evidence to inform development programming, public policy, and institutional decision-making in complex and fragile contexts. Ivan holds a BA in Sociology from ISCTEM in Mozambique and an MSc in Research for International Development from SOAS, University of London.
