Josu Andoni Eguíluz Castañeira

Josu Andoni Eguíluz Castañeira is a digital lawyer, lecturer of Digital Law and AI Academic Coordinator at ESADE (Barcelona) and industrial doctoral researcher at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Infojobs. He teaches digital law across multiple programmes covering AI law, data protection, ethics, and emerging technologies. He has participated in the first European regulatory sandbox on high-risk AI systems. He has previously practised at a top-tier law firm and worked in-house at a leading technology company.

Josu spends an inordinate amount of time trying to understand what AI is doing to us, to our societies, and to the structures that hold them together, driven by an insatiable curiosity. He believes that genuine, proactive generosity is the surest path to building meaningful relationships, creating unexpected opportunities, and approaching each new challenge with purpose and joy.
