
Juho Majanen is a doctoral researcher in Political Science at University of Helsinki. He is particularly interested in how the pharmaceutical industry shapes understanding of the relationship between intellectual property, regulatory protections and innovation, and in how the pharmaceutical market is constructed through discursive practices. Besides pharma and IP, his interests include global health policy and institutionalist theory. Previously, he has gained professional experience in public administration in Finland, at the European Commission, as well as in teaching. Juho completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Politics and Organizations in Helsinki. He also holds a BA in Finnish Language.
