Pablo is a DPhil student in Politics at the University of Oxford. His doctoral project examines whether and how pro-EU positioning by governing illiberal parties can delay pro-democratic mobilisation in aspiring member states. He co-founded Langwith Research, a startup that used AI to conduct large-scale research interviews via WhatsApp. He holds prior degrees from Cambridge and York. Pablo volunteers for Ukrainian causes and is learning Ukrainian. He is both Spanish and Mexican.
