Svetlana Baranova is a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at the Jagiellonian University. She holds an MSc in Environmental Protection and Management, an MA in European Regional Studies and Translation, and was awarded the Lane Kirkland Fellowship for young leaders and scholars. She currently works at the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University, where she combines administrative and programme coordination work with academic teaching and student mentoring. Alongside her university roles, she serves as a European Climate Pact Ambassador for Poland, promoting climate engagement through education, art, and public dialogue.
