By March 22, 2024No Comments

Salary circa £32,000

The Europaeum, a network of leading European universities, seeks to appoint a new full-time Chief Administrator to start as soon as possible.

The Europaeum (www.europaeum.org) was set up by the University of Oxford in 1992. Today, it has 18 member universities in 15 countries. Its mission is to give the most talented, most energetic and most socially committed students within the Europaeum network the opportunities to develop professional qualities to shape the future of Europe for the better.  The Chief Administrator would be the logistical core of a small but exceptionally able team based in Oxford. This post offers the successful applicant a wonderful opportunity to expand their experiences, knowledge and skill sets in both the heart of Oxford and in the international context of 18 Europe’s best universities, and make a real difference to academic exchange across the continent.

The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal skills, high attention to details, excellent organisational abilities, and a willingness to develop the role. It is likely to appeal to someone who already has experience of university administration who now seeks a new challenge.

The closing date for applications is Thursday, 28 April 2024. Applications should be submitted by email to hr@europaeum.org.

Requests for further information should be sent to hartmut.mayer@spc.ox.ac.uk
