Long-service recognition for Prof. Zdzisław Mach (Jagiellonian)

On its recent visit to Kraków, the Europaeum took the opportunity to recognise Professor Zdzisław Mach‘s contribution to its work with the Jagiellonian University since 2005 when they joined the network.

Prof. Mach, a Professor of Sociology and Social Anthropology, is the founder and former Director of the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian. His involvement and dedication to the Europaeum and its activities for more than 20 years has been greatly appreciated by students and colleagues across our network of universities. He has been a regular contributer as a member of the Europaeum’s Academic Council where he represented his university, the Jagiellonian, and also, attended events jointly run with the Europaeum, such as, our recent Summer School on creativity and innovation in Kraków.
